Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute seeks a Registered Nurse to provide holistic oncology nursing care in our Medical Oncology Practice. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, schedule treatments, triage calls, and manage infusion patient caseloads in an outpatient setting.

Minimum requirements include a Connecticut RN license; BSN preferred, OCN preferred, and BLS at hire. Two years oncology experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN license
• BSN strongly preferred
• OCN preferred
• BLS required at time of hire
• Two years oncology nursing experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for treatments and triage of patient calls
• Manage a caseload of patients receiving infusion therapies on an outpatient basis
• Collaborate with referring physician offices to coordinate therapies
• Multi-task efficiently while maintaining safe, high-quality care
• Participate in clinical support programs to ensure optimal care
• Engage with the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at local, regional, and system levels
