Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Venice, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to support physicians in patient care and education. The role requires IV therapy experience and strong clinical assessment skills.

The ideal candidate will have CPR, BLS, a valid driver's license for travel to clinics, and solid English communication. Oncology experience is preferred; this is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy.
• The ability to assess patient needs and condition.
• Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Current CPR certification.
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
• Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver license for travel to clinics.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
