Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support physicians in patient care and education across oncology clinics. The role emphasizes IV therapy, critical thinking, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the state of residence.
• Experience with IV therapy preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and the ability to act calmly in emergencies.
• Current CPR certification; BLS within 30 days of hire (FCS provides course).
• Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Valid driver license for travel to clinics.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in patient care and patient teaching.
• Support IV therapy administration and monitor patient response.
• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure smooth patient flow and safety.
• Participate in background screenings and vaccination requirements as part of onboarding.
