Job summary

The position requires RN licensure, BLS certification, and 3–5 years of nursing experience with at least one year in oncology.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license and current registration in practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 3–5 years nursing experience with oncology preferred.
• Oncology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
• Administers therapies under physician supervision with correct protocols.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for assessment and treatment planning.
• Triages patient needs and facilitates referrals and appointments.
• Mentor and support less experienced staff when needed.
