Job summary

Advocate Christ Medical Center in Illinois seeks a full-time Registered Nurse for the Hematology/Oncology Clinic. You will apply the nursing process, monitor patients, and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires BLS, an active RN license, and BSN is preferred. Weekend and holiday coverage is not required; 40 hours per week with standard daytime hours. Excellent documentation in EHR is expected.

Qualifications

• RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Active RN license in the relevant state; telehealth licensure may apply.
• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed while ensuring age-appropriate care.
