The role emphasizes oncology nursing, patient education, and adherence to nursing standards. Wyoming RN licensure is required, with 0–2 years experience preferred; a flexible schedule may be needed.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as necessary.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Associates Degree in Nursing or related field.
• Active RN license for the state of Wyoming in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients and others to understand care needs.
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families and friends.
• Promotes patient independence by teaching patients and families self-care skills and medications.
• Ensures quality of care by following standards and regulations and adjusting care as needed.
• Documents patient care services by charting in records and maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintains safe working environment and proper infection control and medication handling.
