Alliance Cancer Specialists is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our oncology care team at the Glenn Mills/Riddle Practices. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support patients through every step of the cancer journey.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license and State Board registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (oncology preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in accordance with national standards and oncology guidelines.
• Assess patient health status through interviews, exams, and history review.
• Administer medications, blood products, and therapies under physician supervision.
• Perform venipuncture, access ports, and maintain central line devices.
• Monitor lab results and collaborate on dose modifications and symptom management.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and resources.
• Provide psychosocial support and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain documentation and ensure OSHA and infection control compliance.
• Assist with scheduling, triage calls, and medication refill management.
• Mentor LPNs, MAs, and less experienced nurses.
• Participate in professional development and stay current with oncology best practices.
