Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an ambulatory setting. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, advocate for patient needs, and apply evidence-based practice and professional standards to promote optimal health outcomes.

The role requires chemo certification, BLS, and a nursing degree, with a typical schedule Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm and a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Chemo Certification Required.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.
• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
