Job summary

The Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) at Advocate Health provides high-quality, patient-centered care in an ambulatory oncology clinic. You will support solid tumor physicians with telephone triage, results review, and care coordination, delivering safe care in a collaborative setting.

Schedule is 7:30am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, about 36 hours weekly, with no weekends or holidays and no infusion duties. The location is Milwaukee, with a focus on outstanding patient experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
• OCN/CRNI oncology certifications preferred for oncology departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate outpatient oncology care using the nursing process.
• Perform telephone triage and care coordination for solid tumor patients.
• Uphold safety, evidence-based practice, and compassionate patient care in a team environment.
