Clinical Nurse Chart Abstractor (Oncology) Highlights

• The pay for this position is $40.00 per hour.
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (Business Hours)
• Remote position
• This position is a contract role.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently conduct medical chart abstraction from electronic medical records (EMR).
• Input abstracted data into electronic data capture tools with precision.
• Complete quality assurance and inter-rater reliability testing as requested.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Participate in initial training and onboarding sessions.
• Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy standards.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Oncology Registered Nurse (RN).
• Chart abstraction experience is required.
• Must have direct oncology nursing experience.
• Proficient in navigating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Clinical or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
• Prior academic or research experience is a plus.
• Experience in data analysis is a bonus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Must have reliable high-speed internet.
