Allegheny General Hospital's 9A Oncology unit seeks an experienced RN to deliver direct patient care, including chemotherapy administration within a 32-bed telemetry setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement the nursing process and educate patients and families.

The role requires collaboration, adherence to regulatory standards, and a commitment to compassionate, holistic cancer care for diverse patients in the Pittsburgh area, with a rotating weekend/holiday

Formación

• Current State of PA RN licensure or licensure through eNLC.
• CPR certification.
• Act 34/33/73 background clearances.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates clinical assessment skills and care planning.
• Provides safe and effective care for the age population served.
• Directs and manages the activities of patient care delivery by the team.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team for the plan of care from admission through discharge.
• Assesses learning needs of patient and family and provides education.
