Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology assignment in Michigan. This 13-week contract is day shift, 12-hour shifts, requiring a minimum of 2 years of med/surg/Oncology experience and an active RN license with BLS certification.

You will provide evidence-based nursing care, communicate with the healthcare team, and document accurately to ensure patient safety and continuity of care. Great teamwork, strong time management, and the ability to work under pressure are essential

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of med/surg or oncology experience.
• Active RN license in state of Michigan.
• BLS certification required.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and high volumes.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and various computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably.
• Assesses and plans care using the nursing process.
• Communicates with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Performs point-of-care testing as required.
• Performs necessary documentation accurately and timely.
• Acts as patient/family advocate.
