Job summary

Alliance Cancer Specialists in Sellersville is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our oncology care team. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a collaborative clinical environment, working closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

You will assess health status, administer medications and therapies, manage venipuncture and central lines, educate patients and families, coordinate care, mentor LPNs and MAs, and maintain documentation in line

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license and registration with the State Board.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (oncology experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care per national standards and oncology guidelines.
• Assess patient health status through interviews, physical exams, and review of medical history.
• Administer medications, blood products, and therapies under physician supervision.
• Perform venipuncture, access ports, and maintain central line devices.
• Monitor lab results and assist with dose modifications and symptom management.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and resources.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and provide psychosocial support.
• Maintain documentation and ensure OSHA and infection control compliance.
• Assist with scheduling, triaging calls, and managing medication refill requests.
• Mentor LPNs, MAs, and less experienced nurses.
• Pursue professional development and stay current with oncology nursing best practices.

Overview

Alliance Cancer Specialists is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our oncology care team at our Sellersville Practice. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment as needed. You’ll work closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support patients through every step of their cancer journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in accordance with national standards and oncology-specific guidelines
• Assess patient health status through interviews, physical exams, and review of medical history
• Administer medications, blood products, and therapies under physician supervision
• Perform venipuncture, access ports, and maintain central line devices
• Monitor lab results and collaborate with physicians on dose modifications and symptom management
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and available resources
• Provide psychosocial support and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control protocols
• Assist with scheduling, triaging patient calls, and managing medication refill requests
• Serve as a mentor to LPNs, MAs, and less experienced nurses
• Participate in professional development and stay current with oncology nursing best practices

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (oncology experience preferred)

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for patient care tasks
• Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, and medical preparations common to oncology clinics
• In-person interaction with patients, physicians, and clinical staff is essential
