Job summary

Regional One Health is seeking an Oncology Research Nurse Coordinator to lead multiple complex oncology trials within the ROHRI. The role focuses on promoting research, accelerating processes, and driving patient accrual in a supportive hospital-based research institute.

The coordinator will collaborate with sponsors, investigators, and clinical teams to ensure protocol compliance, safety, and timely study execution across trial lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is a plus.
• Registered Nurse licensure in TN is required.
• Research certification is a plus but not required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Oncology and Clinical Research is required.
• At least 1 year experience in Oncology as an RN; 3+ years preferred.
• At least 1 year experience in subjects enrollment in clinical trials; 3+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with sponsor for expectations and timelines throughout trial life cycle.
• Collaborate with investigators and clinical team to ensure trial compliance and progress.
• Perform and/or coordinate all research procedures applicable to the position.
• Perform nursing procedures related to research, ensuring subject safety and protocol compliance.

A Brief Overview

The Oncology Research Nurse Coordinator provides leadership and management of multiple complex oncology trials and research projects within the Regional One Health Institute (ROHRI) at Regional One Health. The incumbent is responsible for promoting research, accelerating research processes, and driving accrual.

What you will do

• Work closely with sponsor for clear understanding of expectations and timelines throughout life cycle of trial.
• Work closely with investigators and clinical team throughout life cycle of trial, ensuring research compliance.
• Perform and/or coordinate all research procedures as applicable to position.
• Perform nursing procedures related to research as applicable, ensuring subject safety and protocol compliance.
• Work closely with the research team to achieve team goals and promote cohesive operations.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an approved nursing school/program Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an approved nursing school/program a plus
• Registered Nurse in state of TN Required
• Research certification a plus but not required
• Minimum 1 year experience in Oncology and Clinical Research Required
• At least 1 year experience in Oncology as a Registered Nurse. Three (3) or more years preferred
• At least 1 year experience in subject enrollment in clinical trial research. Three (3) or more years preferred
