Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute is seeking a Research Nurse to support the implementation and conduct of human subject research projects. You will coordinate regulatory documents, develop data capture plans, and monitor safety in collaboration with investigators and study teams.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure, BLS, and 2+ years of clinical experience with a preference for oncology or research backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• 2+ years of clinical experience; oncology/research experience preferred.
• RN licensure and BLS certification required; Human Subjects Research certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating the implementation and conduct of research projects.
• Complete and communicate regulatory documents.
• Develop data capture and monitoring plans.
• Report serious adverse events as they occur.
• Serve as a liaison between investigators and research personnel.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient care.
• Assess research subjects and document findings.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with subjects and families.
• Identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning.
• Conduct and document the informed consent process.
