Amergis is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for travel assignments in Littleton, CO. The role focuses on planning and delivering specialized oncology nursing care in hospitals and outpatient clinics, including chemotherapy administration and patient education.

The position offers day shifts with a 36-hour workweek on a travel basis. Requirements include an active RN license in the practicing state and ideally 1 year of oncology experience.

Job description

The Oncology Registered Nurse evaluates, plans, implements and documents nursing care for the oncology patient population. The Oncology Registered Nurse works in hospitals and outpatient care centers where patients receive cancer treatments. In hospital settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse assists with surgery prep, patient education and coordination of their cancer treatments. In outpatient care center settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse typically helps with treatments such as chemotherapy and infusions while monitoring patients' vitals, side effects, and pain.

• Pay: Local $60/hr, Travel $2,915/gross weekly

Minimum Requirements:

• Current RN license in state practicing

• One (1) year of experience in oncology nursing preferred
