Amergis is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse to evaluate, plan, implement and document nursing care for cancer patients in hospital and outpatient settings in Boulder, CO.

The role supports surgery prep, education, coordination of treatments, and infusion administration with monitoring of vitals, side effects, and pain; travel assignment with 9-week length and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state practicing
• One year of oncology nursing experience preferred

Job description

The Oncology Registered Nurse evaluates, plans, implements and documents nursing care for the oncology patient population. The Oncology Registered Nurse works in hospitals and outpatient care centers where patients receive cancer treatments. In hospital settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse assists with surgery prep, patient education and coordination of their cancer treatments. In outpatient care center settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse typically helps with treatments such as chemotherapy and infusions while monitoring patients’ vitals, side effects, and pain.

• Pay: Local $60/hr, Travel $3,115/gross weekly

• Hours: 40hr/wk

Minimum Requirements

• Current RN license in state practicing

• One (1) year of experience in oncology nursing preferred
