Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care for patients under physician orders and guidelines, in accordance with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Georgia RN license in good standing, and BLS certification. BSN preferred; ACLS/PALS or other life-support credentials are a plus; two years of RN experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adheres to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and institutional policies.
