Job summary

Alliance Cancer Specialists is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our oncology care team at the Langhorne Practice. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (oncology experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in accordance with national standards and oncology-specific guidelines.
• Assess patient health status through interviews, physical exams, and review of medical history.
• Administer medications, blood products, and therapies under physician supervision.
• Perform venipuncture, access ports, and maintain central line devices.
• Monitor lab results and collaborate with physicians on dose modifications and symptom management.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and resources.
• Provide psychosocial support and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain documentation and ensure OSHA/infection control compliance.
• Assist with scheduling, triaging calls, and medication refill requests.
• Mentor to LPNs, MAs, and less experienced nurses.
• Participate in professional development and stay current with oncology nursing practices.
