Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN assists physicians in patient care and teaching, with emphasis on IV therapy and oncology settings.

Candidates must hold a valid state RN license, be fluent in English, and have strong critical thinking and communication skills. CPR and BLS are required; travel to clinics may be necessary; prior hematology/oncology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy.
• The ability to assess patient needs and condition.
• Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Current CPR certification.
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
• Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver license for travel to clinics.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
