Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.
• State of Nevada POCA license must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification by the American Heart Association is required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are required/expected for the department.
• Multiple department-specific certifications (as listed) are required within specified timelines.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain all required credentials and participate in ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families within the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; coordinate with other professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain and expand clinical knowledge to support safe, evidence-based patient care.
• Engage with patients and families to include them in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation efforts.
• Adhere to department and facility policies, and maintain required certifications as stated.
