Position Details

1. Start date: ASAP - Upon Credentialing
2. Shifts requested: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (No Call)
3. Practice setting: VA Medical Center (Radiation Oncology Department)
4. Patient load: 16 patients per day
5. Ages: Primarily adult/geriatric Veterans
6. Procedures required: Radiation therapy consultation/evaluation, 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy (3D-CRT), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Treatment planning, follow-ups, and weekly management.
7. Requirements: Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (ABR), unrestricted U.S. medical license, BLS certification.
8. Other: Opportunity to serve Veterans, full-time hours, government-owned facility and equipment, no call requirements. EMR: CPRS/VistA. Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days. Travel and lodging are all-inclusive.
