Clinic Patient Population: 100% adult practice; Pediatric patients are referred to Omaha, NE
New patient appointment time: 60 minutes; Established patient appointment time: 30 minutes

Full-time, permanent position with interest in long-term community integration
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Call schedule: 24/7 with minimal burden; ER calls approximately once per year, primarily via phone
Worksite: Clinic located a block from hospital main campus
Average treatments per day: 15-20; Follow-ups per week: 5-10; Consults per week: 2-5; Simulations per week: 2-4

The cancer center, opened in 2011, aims to provide high-quality radiation treatments locally, emphasizing compassion and personalized care.
Services offered include TomoTherapy, radiation therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiotherapy, radiopharmaceutical therapy, 4-D treatment planning, image-guided radiotherapy, Xofigo, and IMRT. No HDR or neurosurgeon/pulmonologist services are currently available. On-call cases are rare, with offsite medical oncology support 2-3 days/week. Patient care is coordinated by Cancer Nurse Navigators, with transportation services provided within a 50-mile radius.
Staff includes 2 RRTs, 1 dosimetrist (also a radiologic tech), 1 physicist, office manager (also a radiologic tech), admin assistant, and RN (to be hired).
The city, nestled in the Elkhorn Valley, has a population of over 24,000, with a total of nearly 35,000 in Madison County. Located about 2 hours from Omaha and Lincoln, it boasts low unemployment, a diverse economy, and high-performing schools.
