Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program in Radiation Oncology.
• Current certification in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology or by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Treatment techniques: IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS

Responsibilities

• Provide Radiation Oncology care in a private practice setting within SIH Cancer Institute.
• Participate in Multidisciplinary Tumor Boards (breast, lung, GI, GU).
• Collaborate with a large hospital system to deliver comprehensive cancer care.

The SIH Cancer Institute located in Carterville, IL is the answer to an unmet need in southern Illinois. The region's only comprehensive community cancer center brings together specialty physicians, specialized allied practitioners and technology at a comprehensive freestanding outpatient facility, and provides multidisciplinary clinics in one location to streamline cancer diagnosis, planning and treatment. A $10 million dollar grant was recently awarded to the facility towards expansions.
