Mayo Health System - Eau Claire/ La Crosse WI seeking locum Radiation Oncologist

Shifts

• M-F 7.30am to 4.30pm
• Hours per Week: 40
• Hours per Day: 8
• Work primarily in Eau Claire and La Crosse as needed
• Reason for Coverage: Vacant FTEs, Absence Coverage, FMLA coverage
• OT approved
• No On-Call
• Anticipated Start: 7/7/2025
• Anticipated End: 1/7/2026 - estimated

• Scope of Work: Hospital, Outpatient, Clinic
• Patient Demographics: Adult, Geriatric
• Average # of Patients per shift: Eau Claire - on treatment 31, consults 2-3; La Crosse - on treatment 15, 2 consults
• Support Staff: MA, RN, NP/PA, Physicists, Dosimetrists, RTTs
• Charting Option: EMR, Dictation
• EMR System: Epic, Aria, Eclipse Treatment Planning
• Procedures Required: CT Simulation including DIBH, Photon Radiotherapy including 3D, IMRT, SBRT, SRS
• Practice primarily consists of outpatient consults with occasional inpatient hospital consults
• Patients on treatment are seen once weekly during management visits
• General tumor board is held once weekly
• Breast tumor board is held twice a month

Top Desired Skills

• Able to use Epic EMR for chart review and note writing and Eclipse/Aria for radiation contouring/planning
• Comfort with stereotactice approaches, ExacTrac, motion management options (4DCT, DIBH), be facile with Microsoft Teams
