The internship position is a full-time opportunity lasting approximately 12 weeks (May 10 - August 13, 2027).

Qualifications

• Legally/permanently authorized to work in the US with CPT requirements must be communicated at time of application
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College program throughout the duration of the internship
• Must not be graduating before, during, or after the start or end of the internship program
• Graduate students in good standing, pursuing a master's degree (Clinical Sciences, Clinical Research, Nursing, etc.), Physician's Assistant, PharmD or PhD degree or similar degrees
• Self-motivated future scientists passionate about drug development and clinical research

Responsibilities

• Working under the mentorship of PSTS scientists and contributing to one or more project-focused workstreams
• Support nonclinical safety strategy development for oncology programs, including review and synthesis of toxicology, pathology, and translational biology data
• Assist in the interpretation and integration of preclinical data to inform translational risk assessments
• Contribute to cross functional discussions with Oncology partners to understand how safety findings influence program decisions across discovery, preclinical, and early clinical development
• Present a final project (poster or oral presentation) at the end of program intern symposium
