Job summary

Johnson & Johnson invites students to join the Global Oncology Internship Program as Summer Interns in Global Medical Safety. You will work within a matrixed team focused on oncologic therapeutics, gaining exposure to clinical strategies and drug development from phase I to III.

Qualifications

Legally authorized to work in the US with no sponsorships required.
CPT requirements must be communicated at time of application.
Must be enrolled in an accredited University/College for duration of internship.
Must not graduate before, during, or after the internship period.
Graduate students pursuing a master’s/PhD in clinical sciences or related fields; undergraduates with relevant study may be considered.
Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Engagement in routine safety surveillance activities for clinical trial data.
Assist with planning and preparation for safety reviews and SMT meetings.
Contribute to efforts supporting upcoming global submissions.
Gain understanding of GCPs, ICH guidelines, and SOPs.
Attend lectures to learn drug development processes and participate in team meetings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various projects and initiatives.
Prepare abstracts/posters for the annual research symposium.
