Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Oncology Physician for locum tenens support in Columbia, MO. This outpatient position runs 8am–5pm, with no on-call requirement, handling general oncology cases including Lung/thoracic, GI, head/neck, and solid tumors.

Credentialing is 60–90 days with temporary privileges available. EMR is Cerner PowerChart. Active Missouri license or IMLC Qualification required; board certified or board eligible.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in oncology.
• Active Missouri license or IMLC qualification.
• Experience with outpatient oncology care.
• Proficiency with Cerner PowerChart EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient oncology services for general oncology cases (lung/thoracic, GI, head/neck, solid tumors).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure efficient clinic flow.

Pay Rate: $309.43 - $334.95

• Schedule: 8am - 5pm, no call


• Practice Setting: Outpatient


• Type of cases and required procedures: general oncology cases to include Lung/thoracic, gastrointestinal, head/neck, Solid Tumor


• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days, temporary privileges available


• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner (Powerchart)


• Certifications required: must be board certified or truly board eligible


• Licensure required: active Missouri license or active Interstate Medical License Compact Letter of Qualification
