Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hematology-Oncology physician for locum tenens support in Peoria, IL. The assignment offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 7:30am start and 8–10 hour shifts. Board-certified oncologists with active IL license are preferred, and ACLS/BLS credentials are required.

Epic EMR is used for patient records. Malpractice insurance is typically arranged by AMN, and travel/lodging support is provided to contractors.

Qualifications

• Board-eligibility or board-certified in Hematology-Oncology.
• Active Illinois medical license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications necessary.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Hematology-Oncology care for inpatient oncology patients.
• Manage general oncology cases and coordinate with surgical teams.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop treatment plans.
