Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Cancer in Charlotte, NC, seeks an experienced, board-certified medical oncologist to serve as Chief of the Phase I Section. The Chief will oversee two Phase I units, advance Phase I trials, and provide leadership and mentorship to faculty involved in early-phase research.

The role includes strategic trial design, collaborations with pharmaceutical companies, and managing an outpatient solid tumor oncology practice.

• Teaching responsibilities, including oversight of trainees during outpatient and inpatient clinical activities, in alignment with the educational programs of the Department.
• Participating in the coverage of the inpatient solid tumor consult service, shared among the solid tumor oncology attendings (weekday and weekend hospital coverage).

The Department of Solid Tumor Oncology and Investigational Therapeutics is seeking an experienced, board-certified medical oncologist to serve as the Chief of the Phase I Section. This leadership role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of Phase I medical oncologists and oversee two Phase I units in Charlotte, NC. The Chief will be responsible for advancing Phase I clinical trials across multiple disciplines, ensuring that these trials are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines, and providing leadership and mentorship to faculty involved in Phase I clinical trials.
