START Center for Cancer Research in Pittsburgh is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to ensure safe, efficient preparation of chemotherapy, biologic therapy, and supportive care meds for patient administration. You will work with Site Leaders and Pharmacists to maintain cost-effective drug inventory.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, at least 2 years of chemotherapy prep experience, and current CPhT state registration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of experience preparing chemotherapy and biologic therapies.
• Current State registration as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
• Experience with inventory management and GMP/GCP guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mix and label chemotherapy, biologic therapy and supportive care medications.
• Manage inventory and document medication orders.
• Prepare parenteral doses using aseptic techniques per USP and GCP guidelines.
• Ensure proper storage and placement of medications per policies.
• Perform routine weekly inventory and QA tasks; check expirations, recalls, and deterioration.
• Provide drug accountability reports and temperature storage logs.
• Generate reports via applicable computer systems.
