Qualifications

• Establish a collaborative practice program with oncologists for inpatient and outpatient chemotherapy.
• Provide staff development and education for pharmacy, nursing, and oncology teams.
• Act as oncology subject matter expert and review care plans for guideline alignment.
• Round with Oncology Fellows, NPs, and Physicians to optimize therapy per guidelines.
• Deliver patient-specific education for oral oncolytics and IV chemotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Establish collaborative practice with oncologists across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Educate pharmacy, nursing, and oncologists on updates in oncology care.
• Review and optimize oncology care plans in the EHR according to national guidelines.
• Precept pharmacy residents and students in oncology services.
• Participate in Oncology Service Line meetings to enhance safety and care quality.
