The University of Kansas Health System in Westwood, KS, seeks a Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead the Department of Pharmacy, oversee daily operations, and drive performance improvement across clinical and operational activities. This role emphasizes strong leadership, strategic management, and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have an ASHP-accredited PGY-1/PGY-2 residency or equivalent leadership experience, and a PharmD with an active Kansas license.

Qualifications

Pharmacist licensure in state of primary practice.
Doctorate of Pharmacy or equivalent.
Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY-1 and PGY-2 residencies or equivalent leadership training.
Significant leadership and management experience in pharmacy operations.

Responsabilités

Provides effective leadership to the Department of Pharmacy through direct management of personnel and daily operations.
Identifies opportunities for new or enhanced pharmacy services to support organizational mission and leads performance improvements.
Represents the department to communicate goals and strategies effectively across audiences.
Manages personnel development by recognizing strengths and leveraging talents.
Applies financial concepts to analyze situations and support departmental objectives.
Leads projects and collaborates on publications and presentations for professional meetings.
Supports residency programs, clerkships, and internships with mentorship and feedback.
Ensures compliance with all regulations and standards related to pharmaceutical care.
