Job summary

Onco360 is hiring a Pharmacy Medical Billing Specialist in Louisville, KY. The role focuses on end-to-end billing of IV and oral therapies on CPR+ with strong knowledge of HCPCS, ICD-10, J-codes, CPT, and NDC claims.

Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30 or 8:30–5 EST, with starting pay at $23/hour. The specialist will handle claims from filing to payment, QA, and denial management, while collaborating with the Billing Manager and Onco360 Advocate team.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Work Experience: 1-3 years of Medical or Specialty Pharmacy Infusion Billing required; 3+ years in Specialty Pharmacy/Infusion Billing preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: PTCB/CPhT preferred.
• Skills/Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, independent but capable in a team, strong time management, and ability to research and reason.

Responsibilities

• Research and apply proper billing policies for all payer types, ensure compliant claims.
• Process and QA claims to ensure timely electronic and paper invoicing.
• Collaborate with Onco360 Advocate team for funding-related billing follow-up.
• Read and interpret EOBs and payer communications; use CPR+ platform effectively.
• Communicate with insurance, providers, and patients to resolve claims; handle redeterminations/appeals if needed.
• Maintain detailed billing notes and documentation for audits.
