Job summary

Onco360 Oncology Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Benefit Verification Specialist to join our Woodridge, IL team. This role verifies, loads, and coordinates patient insurance benefits for pharmacy and medical coverage, using CPR+ to document outcomes and ensure correct dispensing of medications.

You will handle test claims, determine optimal reimbursement, and support providers and patients with benefit information.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Pharmacy, medical billing, or benefits verification experience preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred; Associate degree is a plus.
• 1+ years of pharmacy or benefit verification experience required; 3+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify and load patient insurance benefits for pharmacy and medical coverage.
• Identify and coordinate benefits, run test claims, and obtain valid responses.
• Load primary/secondary/tertiary insurances in CPR+ and document outcomes.
• Assist providers and patients with benefit information and questions.
• Ensure accurate patient setup in CPR+ with demographics and insurance details.
