Job summary
Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a dynamic leader to drive oncology pharmacology from discovery through regulatory interactions. You will mentor scientists, coordinate cross-functional teams, and steer biomarker-driven decision-making to differentiate programs.
The role requires deep IO expertise, strong senior leadership, and a track record in GLP/non-GLP program management, with emphasis on IND/NDA/BLA readiness and collaboration with CROs.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in biology/biochemistry/immunology/pharmacology or related field.
- Extensive oncology and immuno-oncology experience.
- Deep preclinical oncology and IO expertise with in vivo/in vitro models.
- Experience across small molecules, biologics, ADCs, Bi-specifics, T cell engagers, RNA therapeutics.
- Strong understanding of nonclinical pharmacology/toxicology/DMPK and cancer signaling.
- Experience leading multiple programs (GLP/non-GLP) and biomarker strategies.
- People management and project management; proficiency with GraphPad Prism.
Responsibilities
- Design/execute experiments to elucidate efficacy, tolerability, MoA, and biomarkers.
- Lead programs, mentor junior scientists, and communicate across matrix teams.
- Outsource/manage CRO studies, protocols, timelines, and budgets.
