Job summary

The Cancer & Hematology Centers is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to support IV infusion and retail operations at LHCP location with responsibilities across multiple CHC sites. The role requires providing clinical resources to patients and staff, ensuring compliance with pharmacy standards, and supervising technicians.

Qualifications include a Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) with appropriate state licensure, and oncology experience preferred. Hours vary, typically weekdays with no weekends.

• Oncology and supportive therapies experience desired.
• Clinical pharmacy services and patient education knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmacist services to IV infusion clinic and retail pharmacies at each site.
• Check physician orders for appropriateness and completeness based on protocols and patient history.
• Provide expertise in drug selection, administration, monitoring and adverse reaction reporting.
• Supervise technicians in preparation of medications and dispensary operations.
• Coordinate pharmacy programs including investigational and remote site medication programs.
