Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience counseling patients on medication use.
• Experience educating providers on medication use and selections.
• Experience directing pharmacy support staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, store and distribute intravenous and oral chemotherapy per procedures and laws.
• Review physician orders and monitor therapy; provide drug information as needed.
• Educate patients as primary resource in oncology clinics.
• Order and maintain drug inventory and equipment for chemotherapy delivery.
• Maintain records of drugs and controlled substances as required by law.
