Summary
Job Summary:
A registered pharmacy technician performs delegated pharmacy tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, in accordance with Florida statutes. Responsibilities include patient communication, refill authorizations, appointment reviews, medical records review, insurance authorization, prescription processing—including investigational medications in clinical trials—and assisting with compounding, inventory management, and record keeping, following federal and hospital policies.
