Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a dynamic Patient Access Supervisor to lead a team of Prior Authorization Specialists supporting oncology services at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

In this leadership role you will oversee daily operations, develop policies, ensure regulatory compliance, monitor workload, and drive process improvements to ensure timely access to care. Must be located in the greater St. Louis area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of related experience.
• Supervisor experience preferred (<2 years).

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, assign work, and evaluate performance.
• Ensure compliance with payer regulations and optimize access functions.
• Analyze data and manage team performance to improve outcomes.
• Lead special projects as assigned.
