Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Oncology Department. You will collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals to plan, evaluate, coordinate, implement and facilitate all aspects of cancer care.

The PA will perform oncology history and physicals, review imaging and labs, manage complications and chemo-related issues, administer specialty meds, and discuss patient progress with the medical team.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant required.
• NYS PA license and NCCPA certification required.
• 6 months PA experience required; oncology preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited PA program.

Mansioni

• Conduct oncology history and physical examinations.
• Review and interpret imaging and laboratory information.
• Manage cancer-related medical complications.
• Handle chemotherapy side effects and related care.
• Administer and prescribe specialty medications.
• Discuss patient care and progress with the medical team.
