Job summary

Cancer Center of South Florida is seeking a Director of Medical Oncology Operations to lead the overall operations of our oncology clinic sites. This role focuses on strategic direction, administrative oversight, and delivering patient-centered care while advancing clinical and financial performance.

The position requires strong leadership, collaboration across providers and staff, and a track record in healthcare operations excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or Finance is required.
MBA/ MPH/ MHA or related field preferred.
Minimum of seven years in medical practice management; oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership for clinic operations.
Direct clinical and administrative operations including scheduling, staffing, and workflows.
Lead teams to foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Partner with physicians and leaders to optimize provider productivity and throughput.
Oversee onboarding/offboarding and recruitment efforts for providers.
Develop and manage operational budgets, revenue cycle, and resource utilization.
Monitor performance metrics and drive quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
Lead quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, and regulatory readiness.
