Job summary

ProMedica Monroe Physicians in Ohio is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our hematology and oncology clinic. In a patient-centered care model, you will collect vitals, document visit reasons, and relay information to providers and nurses to ensure a safe, efficient patient experience.

You will communicate with patients and coworkers, assist with front-desk tasks, and help maintain smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• BLS (CPR) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: experience in a medical office; Preferred: Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Collect vitals and document visit reasons.
• Communicate with patients, peers and health care team; relay messages to providers/nurses.
• Support safe patient experience in a clinic setting and assist with front-desk tasks as needed.
