Job summary

Emanate Health is seeking a qualified oncology dietitian to assess and manage the nutrition needs of cancer patients. The role involves reviewing medical records, designing therapeutic diets, and coordinating with the oncology care team to optimize treatment outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Dietetics/Nutrition, current RD certification, and seeks CSO within 2 years. Master’s degree required for new registrations after 2024, with active professional involvement encouraged.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Dietetics/Nutrition from an accredited program.
• Master's degree required if registration obtained after January 1, 2024.
• RD certification and CSO to be completed within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medical records and assesses nutrition status for oncology patients.
• Teaches patients and families the therapeutic diet and lifestyle changes.
• Coordinates with oncologists and care team to set nutrition goals.
• Leads education classes on nutrition and exercises for oncology patients.
• Serves as a community resource for medical nutrition therapy.
