Job summary

Willamette Valley Cancer Institute seeks a compassionate Oncology Dietitian to support patients, families, and caregivers before, during, and after treatment. RD-CSO is highly preferred, with 2–3 years of clinical experience in oncology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed Dietitian with the State of Oregon.
• 2–3 years professional experience as a dietitian; Oncology experience strongly preferred.
• RD-CSO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive nutrition assessments using the Nutrition Care Process (NCP), including documentation and monitoring of progress.
• Identifies nutrition problems and etiology through clinical data and analysis.
• Counsels patients and families regarding diet and nutrition needs.
• Documents all clinical activity on patient charts per policy.
• Develops and participates in nutrition programs and community resources.
