Job summary

Michigan Medicine seeks a Clinical Nursing Director to plan and manage the clinical and administrative operations of a 32-bed Adult Oncology Acute Care Unit. The role ensures implementation of patient care and quality standards and collaborates with the Medical Director to provide cutting-edge care to a growing patient population.

Responsibilities include setting unit goals, staffing, budget participation, staff development, and coordinating with Radiology leadership.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• Master's degree in Nursing or Health Care Administration, Public Health, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement unit goals and standards of practice.
• Supervise unit operations and staffing; establish staffing patterns.
• Recruit, interview and select qualified personnel; manage Interventional Radiology nursing.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and Radiology leadership; participate in budget planning.
• Foster continuing education and staff development; drive quality and safety initiatives.
