Michigan Medicine is seeking a Clinical Nursing Director to plan and manage the clinical and administrative operations of a 32-bed Adult Oncology Acute Care Unit at University Hospital- 8A3 in Ann Arbor. You will oversee patient care standards, staffing, and education, ensuring compliance and high-quality care.

Qualifications include Michigan RN licensure, an MSN or related master's, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• Master's degree in Nursing or Health Care Administration, Public Health, Business, or related field.
• Two (2) years recent leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience with progressive clinical competence.
• Nurse Leadership certification (e.g., CNML) or completion within 1 year of accepting this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement unit goals and objectives; establish standards of practice.
• Coordinate staffing to ensure quality patient care and appropriate nurse staffing.
• Recruit, interview, and supervise nursing staff for the unit.
• Manage budget, payroll, and variances; participate in program development.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and radiology leadership on patient care and operations.
