Job summary

The US Oncology Network is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join our Tyler location. This full-time role manages nursing operations, staffing, and quality measures in an oncology setting, with no weekends. The position emphasizes patient care standards and compliance with applicable regulations.

Ideal candidates bring RN licensure, 5+ years of nursing experience with at least 3 in oncology, and leadership experience. Oncology certification and chemo/immunotherapy credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• RN state license and current registration with State Board of Nursing
• Minimum 5 years actively practicing as a registered nurse, including at least 3 years in oncology
• Current CPR certification required
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred
• Current or pending oncology certification preferred
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy provider card preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversees the clinical operations for all nursing clinical support activities.
• Maintains effective nursing staff coverage and operating costs for the practice and/or satellites within budgetary parameters.
• Monitors and evaluates patient satisfaction and quality assurance measures.
• Coordinates, implements, and assists with staff training and internal developmental programs for nursing staff.
• Assists with annual performance evaluations for nursing department staff.
• Serves as mentor/preceptor and provides day-to-day guidance to less experienced nurses.
• Other duties as assigned.
