Job summary

Vitalief, a clinical research partner, seeks an Oncology Nurse (RN) to join as a full-time employee supporting interventional oncology trials at a leading research center in Somerset, NJ. The role offers comprehensive benefits and on-site work with eventual 4 days on-site and 1 day remote weekly after training.

Ideal candidates hold an NJ RN license, BSN, and at least 3 years of oncology nursing experience. Training in clinical trials will be provided to transition into research.

Qualifications

• RN license active in the State of New Jersey.
• BSN degree required.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience in a hospital or outpatient center.
• Oncology nursing experience is a must.
• Clinical trial experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Phase II–IV oncology clinical trials across disease groups; involvement in patient screening, enrollment, and coordination of care.
• Screen oncology patients for trial eligibility using physician schedules and records.
• Manage screening across ~40–50 active clinical trials with strong organization.
• Obtain informed consent and enroll eligible patients; enrollment responsibilities shared.
• Educate patients and coordinate care with physicians, infusion, radiology, pathology, and lab teams; monitor safety and document outcomes.
