Job summary

AVASearchGroup in the Chevy Chase/Bethesda area is seeking a Full Time Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support the cancer care continuum. You’ll provide advanced clinical care to oncology patients, evaluate and develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with the oncology team in outpatient and hospital settings.

You must have a master’s degree in an NP or PA program, current Maryland APRN or PA license, DEA, and oncology experience; ANCC/ONS certification or willingness

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with a master’s degree.
• Current Maryland APRN or PA license required.
• DEA registration and oncology experience preferred.
• ANCC or ONS certification (or willingness to obtain) and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical care to oncology patients.
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage ongoing patient needs in collaboration with the oncology team.
• Provide outpatient clinic coverage.
• Round on hospitalized patients as needed.
